That was basically the only disappointing track in the entire set, so I wouldn't worry. After Sail he wanted to do an encore with Greece 2000 but the bastards @ Amnesia cut the power after 15 seconds

How is Sail a Dissapointing track?

well i dont really want a live set tonight.. im gonna go tomorrow to House Parade and im gonna get enough Andy Moor, Markus Schulz and Eddy Halliwell ... the rest doesn't matter that much

Cause I'm sick and tired of hearing it and Armin seems to bang out this track more and more lately instead of some of his brand new ones.

Let me just get this clear, is the whole episode a set from Amnesia or just an hour one?

Sail is a nice track but it's not a club track, at least a lot of his die hard fans think that. Armin has made way more suitable classics that would have fit perfectly. If he would have dropped Blue Fear or Exhale the place would have gone mental. For some reason he keeps playing Sail though.

That one, i def. agree with... I like Sail also alot and i 'll never get enough of that, it's just a plain and simple track
But Blue Fear (one of his best tracks ever imo) or Exhale is more perfect indeed...

Or he can play some of his new productions a bit more, like face 2 face or Intricacy ( you've mentioned that somewhere)

That's because ASOT 350 was a "milestone". On the DI.fm website it simply says 2 hour broadcast from the Amnesia set and for the rest nothing. So there won't be any XXL episode or something like that.

Just to make something clear cuz im a bit confused with the hours. When it says 20.00 CET it means the London time which is also the GMT central time or Netherlands time? so i can manage synchronizing to local time.

here it starts at 21:00 sharp .... i dont really know the UK time

I believe 20.00 CET = 19.00 UK time. But I get confused when they start using summer time as well.

lol im more confused now... in alla the computers and many other devices i see that Athens: GMT + 02.00 and that London time is the standard GMT time . now in the google gmt site i saw that it is all an hour further .That means : London :GMT + 01.00 , Greece : GMT + 03.00 etc etc... wtf?

you should stay on the forum from 19:00 to 21:00 and see what's happening

I should be up for this one, 2 hour set sounds good, and I don't know why you guys get upset over Sail being played all the time, you might hear it alot but 99% of people at the show don't go to all his shows and would only hear it live then... Sail is a cracking track, love it!

There are so much more outstanding classic tracks from Armin himself he can play such as Exhale, Blue Fear, remix of Moogwai - Viola, Clear Blue Moon etc. But he seems to fall back on the same "easy to please the crowd cause they know the track" ones ...

You just answered your own question. Look at the crowds Armin would get now, of course Sail will please the crowd and isnt that his main priority?

I totally understand where you come from but you have to acknowledge the reason for playing Sail and how the majority of crowd will react more to that then they would Blue Fear etc..

Anyway, lets leave this discussion for another day and another thread. Back on topic!

Look it from another way: DJ's just play well known tracks to the crowd they recognize and know when the break starts etc. I'm pretty sure Armin must be a bit frustrated as well of playing the same tracks over and over to get a simple reaction from the crowd.

Us Dutchies are just a bit spoiled cause Armin plays here quite a few times and it's easier to fly over to places in Europe

And i feel terrible about it, because by the look of it you will get beautiful 2 hours set !
