Recently my ASOT license has stopped working and i was wondering if anyone knew where to get a new one. I've visited the http://supra.armadamusic.nl/?id=323 website and have only gotten the message:

1. How do I apply for a license?
This is currently not possible.

If anyone can help or knows a way around this it would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Either noone likes ASOT or everyone pirates it. I know people like ASOT...

Anyway. Tinktank, change the topic into something more exciting like:

"How to get ASOT legally and respectfully?"
with undertext "not easy being honest these days angry.gif "

This would get some more attention tongue.gif

I previously had purchased a license to ASOT radio, but has since quit functioning four months premature. I in no way ment to bootleg a license or whatnot. I'm sorry i wasn't very clear in my previous statements. I would just really like any info on where i can purchase a new one or when the service will become available.

If you are looking for ways to buy a legal download of ASOT shows then stop looking because there aren't any and technically never were either. There was this stream subscription that Armada provided but technically that's not a download service, since legally you're only allowed to listen to it, not to store it. Apparently Armada stopped this service without even bothering to inform the people that were using it, because the same question keeps popping up on this forum every week. I never used it myself though, so I don't have details on that one.

If you want ASOT shows as a file for offline playback you can either record them yourself from a broadcast (which as far as I know is not illegal) or find such a recording on the web, which is borderline legal/illegal, depending on where you live and local law. I wouldn't worry too much over the legality of listening to a recorded radio show though, especially when the producer of that show explicitly doesn't want to make it available as a podcast and his production company terminates a paid online streaming service without notice. And besides if you want to support Armin or other favorite artists and dj's you can always buy their cd's and go to their live performances. That's where most of their income is coming from anyway.
