crackpatch
Daniel Kandi
Daniel Kandi
Roger Shah
Freezel
Voted for:

- Duderstadt. Really liked his set from Germany smile.gif
- Sied van Riel. IMO best set of the entire weekend. Full of energy smile.gif
- Roger Shah. Really a nice surprise to get a 2 hour broadcast last night filled with balearic stuff smile.gif

TranceTommo
Have to agree with Freezel, but Patterson was just outstanding for me at Godskitchen, so good!

And yeh Roger Shah's set last night was very melodic, loved it. biggrin.gif

Sonny
Ai, this is really difficult, my head is still spinning from all the excitement.
And i haven't heard all the livesets. sad.gif

But i remember i liked Duderstadt ( Wuppertal)
Sied van Riel did a good job too ( Rotterdam)

I also have to say those past days with all these special guestmixes and live sets were simply amazing ( from what i've heard of it)

I'm gonna miss it...
I mean we can listen to trance all day long on the internet, but this was just special...
ghaikunal
Seid van Reil
Armin van Buuren
Armin van Buuren

Armin did really good during the 2nd and 3rd show!
meg
The majority of the sets were great, but I'll go for:
Myon & Shan 54
Daniel Kandi
ARMIN VAN BUUREN bowdown.gif + Aly and Fila

Armin save his best set for last!!! Beautiful and amazing set
Mami
Gareth Emery - Was a bit starter, but still great respect for the man and his set biggrin.gif
Sied van Riel - totally blew me away. stunning.
Armin van Buuren - good as it should be ph34r.gif
matthew

I think Armin has read the forums rolleyes.gif and saw that people hasn't enjoyed the music he played @ first day...

Armin... first day = bad ... second = good , third = awesome wub.gif
Dolky
Roger Shah
Sied van Riel
Gareth Emery

2 DJ's I liked the most: Sied van Riel and Gareth Emery

They did an amazing job the whole ASOT 400 episode..
kelly
I have to agree with many others...

My favourite set was Sied Van Riel.
As a close second Armins set the second day... had an amazing time over there!
nexxie
Armins set yesterday was best of the best, no doubt about it .. and in voting we can read it as well biggrin.gif

but people come on.. 16th - only Kandis banging mix! biggrin.gif

Patterson, Shah and Armin really killed at Maassilo wink.gif Definitely my favorites of the night
I agree that Duderstadt did a great job in Germany, but my favorite of that night was still Gareth Emery I think. From Godskitchen I haven't heard everything so can't be sure.
benocehcap
Armin...!
sigmar
16.04 - Roger Shah (Amazing melodie-set)
17.04 - Sied Van Riel (energy-bomb!)
18.04 - Armin van Buuren (amazing crossfade to Moogwai - Viola!!!)

In my opinion Armin's sets got better with the time biggrin.gif - this concludes that the more tired Armin is(I think that he was quite exhausted in the last night smile.gif ), the more better his sets are biggrin.gif

I'd actually go with Armin for all three days. I was impressed by the amount of new material he dropped on Thursday and on Friday he delivered the great peak time set in an overall great night. On Saturday I was probably dancing harder than at any point during the weekend in his set from Viola onwards, and to have that topped off by Strange World made that one the most special set for me.
ArminWhite2007
can't vote for this, even through ive listened to asot 400, i haven't listened to the wholes sets of 400 yet, so i can't vote yet
Jeremy Zelaya Flores
so technically Armin owns the three days?
nike2006
everyone did well..........close topic laugh.gif
DodoDJZ
DUDERSTADT laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif
i'm a much bigger fan of them now, amazing stuff, i neve heard before, mashup with Oceanlab - On a good day was outstanding, one of the tunes of the year so far for me.

Armin always rocks, i didn't hear anybody else in UK, so i voted for him smile.gif
and mr sam got some nice banging choons on the 3rd day smile.gif

I've listened that that set twice now, and i been thinking that since track #7 - Armin's F.A.V. Rain mashup - that THATS the best sequence of trax in the entire 400th episode.
I am in absolute AWE from F.A.V. Rain right til the end of the set with not one track letting me down..sickness, HEAVY sickness cool.gif

Above & Beyond's set was not a set on itself, imo... after all, the meaning of being a DJ is playing other people's stuff. of course dropping some of your own here and there... but only this? no sense at all... i haven't even bothered listening to it and i don't intend to, i can play their tunes on my own anytime i want.

i agree on Myon & Shane's opening set... i managed to watch most of it on the video stream, although it, as well as the radio stream, was awful most of the time. anyway, what i got from it was simply amazing! the perfect opener for the celebration!

C'moooon Coxx-y...bit harsh, no?? I hardly believe A & B had ANY hard feelings when making this "mix" for Armin...

Its certainly just them :
1. being incredibly uncreative once again and
2. using this as a promotional opportunity knowing there were SO many listeners

nothing else

GoTTi
I can't vote so far, cause i was only in Wuppertal and didn't find time to listen to the other sets so far, for Wuppertal it was 100% Roger Shah, he rocked it hard.
Coxx
i really like Mr. Sam's set it was different from the others he had everything a bit of house trance techno all in one
i guess that's why i liked his set...

My fav Armin set goes to day 3

as for above and beyond's guest mix i'm really disappointed with the tracks they played
if it was 6 or 7 years ago then i would not mind it's 2009 play some tunes up to date i
dont understand why would they play On A Good Day if they were playing there old tunes...
To be honest if that was not there new single it would of not been on there guest mix
anyways i dont want to get into a huge thing about there guest mix tongue.gif tongue.gif
crankyfranky
My idea is for
1st day: Sied van Riel
I got firstly heard him for energetic set, before had heard him less energetic.
But I maybe the only person think him better than the 2nd day of his set sad.gif
2nd day: Armin van Buuren
He played loads of anthemic tunes and played them comfortably fast.
Especially I like the part, Everlasting~Aztec~Everything.
When I heard Everything kickin' in, felt so happy.
3rd day: Aly & Fila
Yep, I like uplifting with full of melodys the best, so I go for them(or him wink.gif ).
So sad I couldn't hear it live, because of my job.

And overall winner is for Armin's 2nd day wub.gif
In spite of Armin played loads of my favorite tracks, it's a pity that he played
too slow with Black Sun or Viola at the 3rd day.
RAIN
i was in wuppertal and rotterdam events so still havent heard the birmingham sets.
so,

ClubButan:
its hard to decide between Roger Shah and Arnej
arnej mostly played his own stuff but what can i say for them all are massive tracks, cant choose one.
if he had add to that beauty set "the ones that get away, i would definitly say Arnej.
but now its Roger Shah, i`d really liked his choices of melodic stuff and his little keyboard under his chin rolleyes.gif
that was so fancy...
but but but the best song of the day was in Armin`s set.
Dakota - Chinook (uplifting mix) ogghh i cant stop listening it, i cant find the words to tell how much i liked it.

Maassilo:
Sied the Riel really rocked, i cant stop dancing for a sec even if i die from stamina.
Cosmic galaxy guys have always been one of my top 5, i love their cosmic basses really hits hard from the heart.
and seeing the joy in the face of Armin was worth to everything, esspecially at the last tune he came to the front, he was about to cry from joy and happiness maybe he had dropped a couple of tears like i did.

so thats the trance!! what can i say, explosions in the emotions!! feeling that you can achieve the ultimate impossibility with those bluaric, uplifting melodies.
i`m an hopeless addictive and very happy to be like that.

c u @ ASOT 450

loves and kisses
adios...
Coxx
oh i for got to add thank you for having NO MC biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif
xtremexzess
Wuppertal: Super8 & Tab
Birmingham: Sied van Riel
Rotterdam: Mr. Sam

Armin's Set's were good, not more and not less!
Arnej's Set was even good as the set by the finnish guys from S8&T!
But I see much Fan-Boys & Girls... rolleyes.gif
moumny
armin set at massilo was just amazing exept the part with 4 vocals at a time
megakong
Armin van Buuren - best set of the entire weekend

Sied van Riel - This set was on fire

Armin van Buuren

too bad, Daniel Kandi wasn't able to come to Rotterdam, his set in Butan was brilliant. My personal favorite of the weekend!!

Just heard the set of Nitrous Oxide. Amazing!!! Remix of Sunny Lax - Reborn is delightful.

Armin, like always, the man. Third day was fantastic, closure of day 1 was amazing.

This weekend was a treat for everyone, can we have it again next week?!!!!!!!!!
