For those who chatted on Twitter during ASOT its without a doubt an amazing experience for us all, and its with this i look to you all for support and an idea for placing and creating a chat session for all ASOT episodes to come and make it a new means to live it up during the broadcasts of ASOT. I had a few people consider this option and i liked the idea enough that i'd feel it'd be a great idea for ASOT fans to use and chat it up bounce off ideas for tunes we'd like to hear for future episodes and ideas for the tracklists assuming Armin isnt joining in the fun and posting the Tracks as they come on the show. I'm going to run this idea through Armin himself through e-mail and hope he discusses the idea with his staff buddies to see if we can set this up and have it also comeup on the main page of astateoftrance.com, assuming it doesnt take too much work to handle. If not then i suggest a standard chat room to make it easier. This is purely an idea i'd like to bounce around with all you ASOT fans and Armin so we'll see where things end up, i feel it'd be a great addition to the already amazing listening experiance of ASOT.

I must say I like the idea too as I was also a part of the ppl which were sending msg through Twitter.

As for standard chat room goes for i'm not so sure that's a good idea cos maybe then we'll be facing a lot more messaging/chating at the same time and ppl wouldn't be able to follow entire sessions whereas through Twitter messages are flowing a bit slower.

Anyways i'm all for interactions smile.gif cos that how internet functions these days ... as I see it it's all about the status messages

There is already a normal chatroom for ASOT, for like years now: www.arminvanbuuren.net

Seems like the Twitter thing for ASOT was a huge success, still not something I'm gonna use though.

dry.gif Wont be seeing me use yet ANOTHER chat thing.
I'll stick with IRC. dry.gif Though probably wont be chatting with people there.... All they do is complain and say how much this or that track sucks and how this transition blows ect.ect.ect. IRC chat kinda ruined the mood if you were reading it.

I can also see why you'd get burned out on chatting with ppl complaining all the time, but it was amazing this weekend, the energy was great and nobody complained too much and just enjoyed the chat session during the event. Its why i'd like to see if we can bring twitter back for normal episodes to keep that energy alive and hopefully complain free, but thats wishful thinking on my part. blink.gif
